Fox face reef safe??

I am 75USG (already too small). I would really try the to get your LFS to bring in the Red Gracilaria (like I had pictured above). You want it clumps, like a bush and just stick it through a hole in one of your rocks. Maybe once a month I have my LFS order and I buy a bunch for $30 and drop it in my sump inside of a little breeder box I have pictured below. The tangs and foxface loves it. Three months ago I started with Tigger Pods in the refugium and now when I bring up the macro algae I am including pods for the rest of the family, especially my dragonet, he love it! I feel like a Gracilaria salesman, but it is great. beta carotene improves immune system, helps prevent HLLE and acts as a scrubber removing nitrates and phosphates.

Oh wow
That's neat. I've never heard of that. I'll ask my LFS today. I have to make a pit stop after work anyway.
Thanks!!!

I thought foxface that eat coral were more like Bigfoot sightings - you've all taught me something. I kid I knew it happened sometimes, just didn't realize it was this prevalent.

artisan lettuce.

I'm sorry but I got a little chuckle out of this not sure if this is a brand or just a description :D We have a one spot in QT right now that when we purchased was no bigger than a 50 cent piece, he's already grown quite a bit and is a voracious eater of seaweed, the occasional live blackworm, and what I have begun to call "FoxFace Crack" which are the Hikari Herbivore Pellets. He definitely has tons of personality and is by far one of my favorites. He also follows our Copperband around in QT like a child, I don't know if it's because each has "one spot" or they've just grown fond of each other.

Ironic, my one spot follows my kole tang around. Best buddies.

Good to know and it's definitely been interesting to watch. They sleep together in the same place and are basically on top of each other all day. I've been a bit concerned because the FoxFace was so young he's been "learning" how to use his veneomous spikes, so my concern has been they'd be swimming and he'd stick my CBB but so far the CBB seems to be pretty adept at swimming around his spines when extended.

My friend had a foxface that we had to "catch" out of his tank because it was eating all his zoanthids.
What would you guys recommend I do?? I've started feeding more algae but I can see more debris "left overs" floating around the tank.

some things are hit and miss with eatting coral i had a urchin munch on some coral and i want to say he taught the pepperment shrimp how to eat coral to .-. needless to say they are no longer in the tank sounds like you got a fox face that eats coral im sorry :( i know your pain

Feed smaller, more frequent meals. Cut the nori in smaller pieces.
