Frag rack rusted magnet !!!

Your tank will be fine, corals would already be exhibiting stress. Poly filter would be my first priority to help pull any residual contamination

Poly filter would be like filter floss ?? I think I have some laying around for my frag water so filter socks aren’t good :D

The rust is off, you have been using carbon and there really wasn't much to begin with.
If there had been enough material there, the corals would be showing it.
If it makes you feel better, do a water change.
I think your good.

As far as the magnet it must have been a neodymium magnet. They will rust or corrode. It's common to use them in frag racks. Not much you can do about it. Just keep a eye out for issues like that in the future.
Ceramic magnets don't.

True and yes I did read an article saying that coral would have been shut if there was anything in there

Fixed the frag tray with a mag float I had as a spare now I am shading a bit my frogspawns but don’t think is to much of a deal .
rust was scraped off and hopefully I got it all in the paper towel
New carbon is in and new filter sock
And would it really kill of my tank slowly
If it hadn't been taken care of, yes, it is eventually deadly to corals, inverts, and even the bacteria. However, it sounds like you took care of it before it got worse.

:) good to hear and coral seem to be doing the same way .. no negative effect will change carbon tomorrow with a new fresh bag
