Awhile back, I acquired Esage's 20 gallon rimless JBJ frag tank and stand.

Here's what I've done thus far:

Kessil A360WE. I also put the Dremel to the black acrylic covering to fit the current setup.

Kessil spectral controller

Jebao WP10

Tunze Osmolator Nano with 5.2 gallon reservoir. Don't sweat the reservoir Rob........it's #5 polypropylene which is food grade.

Cobalt 75w Neotherm

CAD lights PLS-50 Elite. Let me just say that this little guy is bad butt. Dead silent, super easy to dial in, and pulling gunk out like a champ.

Kept Esage's very nice DIY 3 level rack that fits perfectly in the first compartment. I'm running a filter pad, GFO, and carbon.

My wife is converting my office/tank room to an "ocean themed room". She's replacing all the pictures in here and also gave me an early Christmas present.....a Zoanthid art pillow.

Once again, thank you Esage for pawning this off on me.

Thoughts, suggestions, criticism, etc is always welcome.

Real nice!, I'm a little jealous :) That's the skimmer I planned on using if I kept the tank running. Was it easy to setup in the back compartment? I felt the kessil was a great light over that tank. Its going to look real nice filled with frags.

Yep Esage. Easy setup. I would recommend this skimmer to anyone 40 gal or less. I have NOTHING in this tank yet. It's still cycling but pulling a boatload of gunk out. I've already emptied it twice with dark tea colored skimmate. Can't wait til it's done cycling so I can put my frags in.

Careful Rob. Club frag tank may have a new home lol. Although you may still be managing it.

Very nice setup - looks like its ready for the frags. That skimmer looks like a better design than my eshopps nano. Mine seems like it needs cleaning every few weeks.

Careful nothing, you will be the new caretaker of the club corals!!! Where in the world did that pillow come from, it's awesome!!!!!!

Chris, it's been a few months, are you still digging this skimmer? I've had a few nano-skimmers that I absolutely HATE, would love to get one that actually worked. The issue I have found with small skimmers is they always run super wet because of the small diameter and foam/ bubbles popping seems to fill them up super fast. Do you have that issue with this one?

That skimmer is impressive. I bought one on his recommendation.

Is this tank still going if so any update pics?!

I have the tank and skimmer now, for a true nano skimmer it works really well. My only complaint with the skimmer is the pump inlet, they use a small tube to supply the air intake and it runs through the middle of the inlet, 1. It restricts flow to the pump and 2. It creates such a small opening that detritus and all other small particles (strand/s of cheato ...single bubble of bubble algae ..heck, even a live bristle worm) to build up and block the flow, which drastically reduces the efficiency.

I'm running the same mod as he originally posted as far as the media rack but my problem is within one day the filter pad is I guess clogged and restricts flow through rear chambers causing my tunze 9001 not to skim the problem I'm also having is using a ato in this case is adding to much fresh water due to filter clogging so fast can't seem to figure this out with out changing filter pad every morning
