Does anyone know where I can find a frag tank? I’ve been unsuccessful in my search to locate any suitable tanks. - I’d prefer a 15” tall tank, but 12” would do (x24”x96or48”) Should I just make a tank out of a tub or from scratch instead of searching for glass/acrylic? Thanks!!! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

Any good manufacturers?
I think Waterbox makes some frag tanks.
thanks! Waterbox don’t seem to have what I’m looking for - just a tank, no stand or sump, 4-8ft long, 12-16” tall. I didn’t think it would be this hard to find a frag tank! There is one for $2,000 shipped on eBay that is the closest to what I’d like. Just a bit spendy

I am looking for the same but I have only found fiberglass tubs. I will end up going with that myself since I am cheap. Specific sizes like that are hard to find or to pricy.

Ouch. I have no doubt the quality is better than the Zoo Med but $900.. that's painful to hear.
It’s not about quality it’s about wanting the specific tank size that you want. If you want to settle then sure you will get a cheap one. But if you want the size you want then you have to pay. Btw I also recently picked up a used acrylic 48x24x15 for 400$

You have to pay to play. Good luck finding anything new over 15” deep 1/2 thick for less

All depends on what you want. If your good with the 10" the Zoo Med is otherwise the same foot print as what you ordered.

If you want custom you want custom.

Best me to it! Yep all about what the OP wants and how much they want to spend/settle.

The zoo med tank would been great but at only 10 inches deep you can not have a gyre pump with out it blowing almost straight at corals. I like mine to blow over the top of them. Ive had issues with power heads on the low tanks. From now on I will never have less then 15 inch deep frag tank

I wish that low boy was closer to the 12" height. 10" is a little short when you factor in your frag rack.

Then let me point this out why my tank cost so much. Once you get taller then 10-12 inch then tank needs a center brace across top. On a frag tank this blocks light and I really hate working around. Now this is why you need 1/2 glass to not have center support brace. Hence the 870$ price tag now
