Other pieces are still going well. I need to get some shots of them tonight.

I brought both pieces downstairs to my new display tank, got some better shots of how they are healing.

LOL DSLR ftw! You'res look really good Ian, I'm thinking now that the scoly's have healed from the saw, they are going to be fine, just see how long it takes to turn into a donut again.

WOW nice scoly's. thanks for being the brave ones lol, i know i would have had the guts to try it. By the way can i get a frag lol

Its going pretty well for me. The first fragged scoly is actually starting to round out its tissue.

Well, when I first started the thread we just fragged them. So its been about 3 months now.

Obviously the corals are in great health, just takes time for them to regain their original shape. IME we're talking at least few years for the skeleton to grow round again, but the flesh can and will "re-shape" as much as it can without the skeleton shaping it's growth. Also the larger the coral, the longer it will take... the skeleton's are intricate and do not grow as something like an Acro would.

Here is one of the two in September, the flesh is rounded out but the skeleton has a ways to go.
