Harbor Freight gels are my favorite. 10 pack for $4 (before coupon)! Works as well as any of the other "Reef" branded options.

I’m a big fan of the IC gel you have pictured. I use that and the accelerator for gluing to plugs or just the gel for gluing to rock. Not expensive and come with a bunch of extra tips. As long as you close it shortly after you’re done, the tip doesn’t harden.

Personally I hate putty. Never works well for me even with glue. Makes my skimmer go nuts as well

gel glue. have had great success with the polyp lab gel and brs gel. i recently ran out of both, and had some loctite super glue gel which i am using until i decide which glue too try next (thankfully stumbled onto this thread)

There are many recent posts on here about desire to frag, how to frag and even fragging for business/income. Recently, My SPS have been growing so fast that my tangs have broken a few pieces. I decided to frag them for regrowth. I have ICP and ecotech gel glue as well as a bottle of BRS coral glue. I prefer and have used Holdfast Putty by Instant Ocean. Recently I opened a tube of Tunze Coral gum instant and its suer easy to knead and use and is now my favorite

What is everyone else using and what is your favorite product for gluing/fragging coral?

Ic gel
Is the best one I’ve ever used .
But for cost .. dollar store super glue works good too

There was something not long ago for a more secure and instant hard like glass . Apply baking soda to wet superglue .

Can’t remember if I saw it here and used in a reef tank or not though .

I use IC gel almost exclusively. I like it for glueing into the tank because it sets up pretty quick but it's long enough to get the frag into the tank, and I'm too lazy to really try anything else for gluing frags to plugs. I keep a bowl of salt water on hand and once the coral is on the plug I swish it into the water to help it cure faster before the plugs get tossed into the frag tank

I mostly use Gorilla Gel glue. I’ve used the Loctite(works well but runs out fast) , and Seachem gel.

I’m going to have to order some of the Tunze putty. The last I got was the two little fishies and it was dry and crumbly, and basically not usable.

This stuff is very gummy, kneads very easilyand dries hard as a rock. I use a small popsicle stick to take out what I need for use

+1 on the Tunze Gum. I've been using that stuff for a couple of months now and it's fantastic. It mixes easily and combined with the BSI glue, I'm not having any issues with my frags coming loose. Also really like the BSI glue because it comes with 3 nozzles, I usually need all 3 to utilize the entire tube.
