What test kit are you using for nitrates? Could it be higher than 20? I've seen bailouts with tanks that had high nitrates for a while.

Sometimes those colors are a guessing game. I would do some water changes too get them 5 or under. I have my lfs confirm my tests are accurate once and awhile.

Its gonna bail I had a acan n frogspawn bailout from neglect in waterchanges trace elements magnesium got way low n high nitrate I stuck the bailout in a hole in a rock in my pico 5 gallon in july it extends its fingers out every day hopefully it will grow a new skeleton I thought it was gonna b a gonner like everyone said but its still hanging out chillin n inflates itself when the lights come on good luck bud

A double shot .shot glass would work also but they dont like to b messed with or a lot of flow they will inflate n take off n u will find it floating around so find a deep hole n stick it in there it will take month but it should inflate once its settled in

It's fully detached now and still looks healthy I don't get it lol is it trying to fill the anemone void I have in my tank? Lol

Find a hole n put it in there n hope for the best low flow it will take a while for ot to inflate hopefully it will grow a new base after six months mine has been in a hole sence july n hasnt come out glue wont help so don't try it it will just come right off

Yeah Tried glue already reminds me of trying to glue leathers. Maybe this is how they move in the wild to find a location that's more favorable. Bad thing is I can't do any water changes because of the dinos I'm trying to get rid of.

I use kent nano reef part a and b sence july it works great 15 mil every 2 to 3 days with 60 gallons of water in my system ive been out for a week n picked some up last night n dosed 20 mil n a hour later my leather coral opened up like crazy looked really good extended its fingers halfway up my tank the stuff works n I also dose mira tip 20 mil every three days love the stuff n the way it smells lol its made in Germany n kinda hard to find

Might want to dose a mag too. Generally the cause of polyp bail out.
I use Balling method a more balanced system of supplementing cal and alk.

When mine bailed out I had two separate frogspawn one bailed n one stayed they weren't even on the same branch two totally separate corals one wasnt effected one bailed same with my acan I bought three frags one bailed n two weren't even affected so its really hard to tell sence ur parameters are ok mine was high nitrate n low mag
