From snakes to fish

There are two on the left , one under the Xenia and one fell off the rock into the sand. And thanks man! Much appreciated I still have a long way to go , the quick way to fill a tank is with pest corals! The good news is that at this point the tank takes care of itself , mostly all my corals are trades from other reefers plus with Xenia growing so fast lfs gives me credit of 5$ a frag (sells for 20) so I’m able to get more frags
I am seeing a lot of softies and LPS with flow. Love it. Some Xenia, bright Toadstool Leathers, Zoas or polyps ( not sure) , BTA, fighting or Strawberry Conch? Love it. What is the one top right? Kenya or something else. I like the flashes of orange and green. Need more orange or red in my setup.

My fiancé picked the Xenia and I like the movement , Xenia withstanded being right infront of gyre I’m convinced they can take any type of flow. Not sure on conch either it was fiancé bought and picked, but it has grown huge. Top right is pink anthelia with Xenia with Kenya tree , three weed corals. The Pandora zoas add nice color and also grow like weeds I started with 5 polyps on it’s taking over the whole rock same with the green ones

First ever live sale from @Pieces of the Ocean , sorry for the blue lights will get white pics later. Purple dragon eyes and magician zoas still ticked just put into the tank. Sadly didn’t get the free frag from the live sale , hoping these grow nice

TWO current issues I am dealing with :

1.) caulerpa - starting to take over DT , it accidentally got in a while back when I setup the tank and is flourishing - taking it off the rocks does not work due to rooting. Sea hare? Dose vibrant? Not really sure how to combat this. I’ve heard that bristle tooth tangs enjoy caulerpa but I don’t think I have the space.

2.) aptasia - gulf live rock brang me aptasia and I ignored for too long and now it’s in the 100’s . I have a six line so I think berghia nudibranch are out. I tried a peppermint shrimp before and it ate a BTA - retry? These are like supercharged aptasia lol getting huge

I am thinking of saying screw it and getting 5 peppermints and praying and then dosing vibrant to kill off caulerpa in DT and cutting off my sump for the time being cuz it’s a refugium so it’ll be two separate tanks for a bit. Thoughts?

i'll be back later,some thoughts... ;)
