Garcia's 210g

Yea I already have the replacement bulk heads. It's been over a week now with no drips or condensation at all but just to be safe when I drain it. Possibly tomorrow. I will replace it.

So looks like the canopy is back in to play. When testing out the new lights they are very bright. Hurt your eyes to look at bright. Even when positioned above the tank. My wife can't stand it and it's right next to the kitchen. Also the cats keep staring and I don't want them to go blind. So thinking about mounting these in the canopy. I have some ideas on how to make the tank more accessible through the canopy. I will tackle that at a later date. One problem at a time. Now for some advice please. I'm thinking about just using three of the radions in the tank for now. Saving the fourth for a frag/coral inverts qt tank. My thinking is that for the first 6 months or so I won't have to many corals. Once I get pretty full I'll add the fourth. Your opinions are wanted!

Sounds like a good plan. Just be sure that when you add the fourth to the tank you do it slowly so you don't shock the corals. As for the lights and the canopy. I have seen people use double sided tape and a piece of paper and just hang it off the side of the LED to keep the light more focused. I don't know what you think about that though as it may not look as good as the canopy.

I will add it slowly. Thank you for your input. The canopy looks great. It just makes it very difficult to get my hands in the tank. Honestly what I'm considering doing is cutting the front 1/3 of the canopy in half. Put hinges on it so I can flip it up and make it much easier to access it.

Congrats on the lights Gabriel, can't wait to see them over the tank. Any new updated pics of the progress?

Making some progress. I feel pretty good about this one. Tested everything and it's working great. As alway input is always appreciated. My RO saltwater mixing station!!!!

So here's my setup. Waiting til I get the replacement filters to mount up the RO unit. Basically the way it works is the right tank next to the hot water heater is the RO water tank. It has a T on it so I can ether fill up a bucket for top off water or when I turn on the pump it will pump all the RO water to the other brute trash can. Which is the salt water tank. It has a power head and heater in it. Once all water is mixed up I can power on the second pump and run the hose to the tank to dump the salt water in.

So just did a water change test run. First two pictures are pumping the water out of the tank to the kitchen sink. Third is pumping water from garage to tank. Worked great!

Looks good
Keep the updates coming love watching other people's tanks come to life

So then canopy is back in and I have to say it looks great. Spent some time mounting the Radions today. Decided if I'm gonna drill in to the top of the canopy I'm only gonna do it once. So I'm running all four radions.

Great setup looking forward to seeing it up and running! 210 is my dream tank. Have it but it's just sitting here. No time to build. Good luck on yours!
