Garf bonsai. I think

Its a garf, that came from Jim's colony. You got the real deal. Mine took a while to settle in but then took off.

Looks like a Garf to me. This is a frag I have.

I've had my GARF Purple Bonsai for about a year and a half now. It started as the tiniest nub with only 3-4 polyps. Almost lost it in a crash that claimed many other SPS' and actually ended up fragging off the bulk of the vertical growth at the time and cauterized the wound with super glue. It worked and the quarter sized chunk of super glue is almost completely encrusted over now. I don't think you can even see it in the picture here.
Without a doubt, it's one of my best corals. Treat yours right, and be patient, and it will amaze you with its colors and growth patterns.
