I’m also in the process of doing thisMe too, now here's to hoping I can get her nice green color back...
Actually yes , I waited a week for it to settle into the new environment then started feeding it small pieces of shrimp . It’s right side is already gaining it’s green back . The fish store I bought from had it under a cheap t5 bulb .I would wait a little longer to feed yours to minimize the stress.Have any luck yet? I'm not even sure where to start
Wrong thread ?i know there was the question posed at one time as to whether or not feeding meaty foods during a fallow cycle could disrupt the "no food" cycle in the tank. I honestly do not remember the outcome.
@Humblefish would know though.
Wrong thread ?
My bad I forgot , maybe hold off on the feeding the nemDEFINITELY NOT. Jenny's tank is currently fallow. Hence Adding a meaty food host to a fallow tank could provide a food source in a fallow system. I don't remember what Bobby said about yes or no on that one.
Fair enough, hopefully I can get the lights to where the nem needs them to be and maybe if I'm lucky she will get her color back on her own, who knows
Sorry late response, finishing a remodel project and gearing up for cataracts surgery next week, have not been able to really read through some threads thoroughly lately
I'm intrigued as to how this is even possiblePerhaps this is an ideal situation for the zoxanthellae transplant that Orion/Minh has been doing
