All for reef powder using a doser 15 ml per day to my magnesium and the other two I use BRS two part to adjust calcium and alkalinity.

The new - used 120 has been full of water for a while and just add my live rock I've had been cooking for awhile. Prior to this it was in a
Tank. Tampa Bay Salt water sand will be delivered this coming Monday. Water is cloudy as I just finished the rock.

Water is clearing up. There is egg crate on the glass and Base rocks put down on the crate for the reef foot print. Sand add then the live rock on top of the base rock. The back of the rock is open to the back of the tank so fish can swim through, but looks solid from the front and top. Tampa Bay Salt Water live sand is coming and will be placed over the sand already in the tank. I have some live rock also coming that will make up the refugium.

I did the same thing with the Tampa Bay live sand. I think it’s worked out well.
I like the way your scape seems to be receding into the background between the two structures, or at that’s the impression I’m getting looking at it based on the angle of the picture. Creates depth of field that looks good.

Thank you, That's what I was going for, I will be able to make it look like diving in-between two walls, I tried to use the 3rds , or what ever it is called. I will have enough different flow and light zones hopefully to have a natural looking reef.

Yeah, I’ve never really been able to figure out that rule of thirds thing myself. It’s almost funny how my current scape is symmetrical and the only invert is a gorgonian that has been placed exactly in the middle. Neither thing was on purpose but that’s how it’s ended up for the moment. It’s almost anti rule of thirds.
I’m looking forward to seeing how your natural looking reef comes together.

Work in progress, got the zoa and Euphyllia garden in the 120 gallon

. I didn't realize just how large some of the zoa colony's have gotten. I have isolated them so they can't spread the the other rock.

Two days of work I'm happy

Fish seems happy, they gained 45 gallons 6 inches in depth and 4 inches in height

I put the coral and fish in the new tank last weekend and was running tank only no sump for a week. I had the old rock in for a while prior to this and monitored parameters nothing was out of wack. This weekend was putting the sump in and turned the full system on and had no leaks so far. I added two acro yesterday. One was Lime In The Sky and a large frag of Green Slimmer. All of the coral have not missed a beat and are all open and happy. Water is a little cloudy so to the new sump breaking in.
