Getting tank inside

Acrylic or glass? Former will be in the 400 pound range; latter closer to 800. I moved in my 450 (acrylic and 580 pounds) using sleds and a lift cart; but that still required four of us, Turn tank onto its back, not front, to avoid any scratches to the front panel.

I have the same issue, have a brand new SCA 150 gallon sitting in my garage. I live in a rural community so hard to find muscle. Have to get it down one flight of stairs straight shot. Going to make a ramp and us one of these to lower it down the ramp and then build a ramp up the stand and reverse to process. I also purchased two of those flat furniture dollies to move across the basement.

I used A bunch of 4” pvc to serve as rollers. You might have to build a stand if you have steps. I also put plywood on the rollers and then just put the tank on the plywood. You will have to move each roller as you move the tank through the doorway. This way if you place the tank on its side there will be even pressure. You could even place some foam insulation boards on top of the plywood in case there’s unevenness. Good luck.
We moved a 180G down some stairs and used a plywood sled. That wasn’t fun!

We did the same stairway sled on a 180. Thankfully, we had some monster strong help to make quick work of it.

We had to lay my 60x36x24 on it’s side to bring it in and through the house. No issues here, now granted we were gentle. Put in on the cart shown below, kept it on its side and wheeled it through. Mine is all 1/2” glass with two panels on the bottom, and eurobracing up top. I made sure I had EXTRA help!!!
