Anyone every have this issue where the zoas get ticked off because of the GHA and dont open all the way?

If you can take it out, put it with 50/50 tank water and peroxide for a few minutes and the gha will be dead in a few days.

Yea pops over fed the tank. But what bugs are ya thinking? Im grabbing some mexican turbos after work what else? I have a 40g

Turbos wont touch it unless you trim it to buzz cut length. Hermits like GHA but also like snails too. Fluconazole + nutrient control?

Yea im starting Fluc today and nutrient control. It was scrubbed down Sunday.
One thing I did Im not sure a lot of folks did with the Flucon, I put it in a jar and shook it until it was completely dissolved. My bryopsis was gone in seven days. quite a bit faster than most people reported.

+1 on Fluconazole. I tried it on my tank and this stufff is magic!!!!

killed what bryopsis I had and no trace of algae anywhere. I had small algae on my frag plugs....not anymore they are as white as the day I stuck them in the tank.

This is the best thing since Kent Tech M and that other liquid stuff that doesnt work except keep your glass clean(forgot the name)

Imo Cuc do not eat gha at all.
eh, a lot of folks reprt that when a species(snail crab fish) are removed they then have a bloom of another organism. But in general a lot of snails wont mow down a forest. I do know a zoa propigator that had a tank full of hermits he dumps(yes dumps) his frags in to be cleaned up, and it does work.

Most wont believe a scrub and addition of snails fixed this tank.

so it killed the GHA as well?

yes. IT was a small amount. I started noticing a few plugs growing bryopsis and I was really only paying attention to those plugs and 1 day I noticed all algae was gone.... including the gha.

also had 1 plug with red cyano and it is now gone. I blasted my tank with heavy flow to bring all the algae to my overflow so its out of the tank.
