GHL dosing pump users, sell me on this.

Go to Control Center and click on "system" once connected to the doser, the below screenshot will appear:

Click on Settings under WIFI/LAN and the below window will appear:

Here you will select "Use following settings" and can set it to a static IP address as shown above. This means the router address will not change on the network and makes a more reliable wifi connection through GCC and the phone app :) Make sure you hit "save" in control center before exiting and allow 20-30 seconds for the doser to adjust its address. I blocked out where the IP addresses will show but this should get you what you need!

Click yes if you want cloud support, what they are trying to say there is that you cannot log into myGHL cloud and use GCC at the same time, but you can use their myGHL and USB together. I currently have it enabled as it is the best way to reach the doser when not at home :)

I'm sorry you are having trouble with your Doser . I had some of the same problems that you are having. You are almost set, you have figured out most of it. However if you continue having problems you may want to contact Vinny with tech support. He will be able to do a remote session, with you thru your pc. He will have you setup in no time. He got me setup, pretty quickly. My problem was that my pc was not remembering my Doser info. So if you need some contact information send me a pm and I will give it to you.

Looks like I'll need to find a cheap used laptop. Is there a minimum windows version that the GHL control center requires? Been using Mac for the past 10 years.

Just install parallels, it's a lot cheaper than buying a pc. You'll only need it to run Control Center to set up and install firmware updates (which isn't often). It's only $79, so not too bad. There are free programs to run windows on a mac, but you may not have the support you'll have with a paid program?

I read that it can be slow and buggy, plus I would have to purchase windows? Which may end up cost just as much as finding a used laptop. I think I want to explore that route first. Still want to verify which windows version I'll need.
