So I ordered these when with my skimmer but they were backordered and just came in. Skimmer neck extension and automatic neck cleaner.

Now I have 3" of extra dwell time and a neck cleaner. Neck cleaner comes on 20 seconds every 6 hours.

I also connected the skimmer to the Apex and set some virtual outlets for 60%, 70%,80%, and 100%. This will let me adjust the skimmer for 70% rate and then if necessary I can turn up or down the pump a little bit to adjust the level. And I can do it from my sofa as I watch the skimmer on my Equipment Cam!

Very nice, I didn't know they had a "neck extension" product. On my skimmer (Vertex Omega 180i) I use their neck cleaner (I wonder if they also have a neck extension?) and have it run 1min at 10am and 10pm on a digital timer. Time to get that hooked to the apex as well. I love it; get great skimmate and excellent foam with a clean neck

I think most people running skimmers for home aquariums do not have the height available. For this reason you do not see tall skimmers. This is a nice way to get that if you have the room. I could even add another if I wanted to.

I have it for my reef octopus and I noticed a difference really get away in the quality of the skimate

The main reason is in case one of them should get frozen/hung I can power cycle them remotely.

Oh, and the cameras are all different. Some are ancient and the newer PTZ ones were like $40 on Amazon.

They are not 1080p and they are not amazing except for their price and they are good for a basic camera. And they have their own cloud service too.

I just checked. They were $45 and change when I bought them in December. They went up to 55 and change.
