yes, but only 2-ch on 0-10v... for now.Are the Philips apex controllable
Bells and whistles is why I just sold my radions. I thought I loved bells and whistles, until months past and corals weren't growing. I want a company to engineer a light that I can adjust intensity, and set it and forget it. (T5). Too many adjustments on the radions. Who knows if the color you choose is what your corals need. I like that the engineers at Phillips took the guess work out if it. I think the engineer said there are only 2 channels to control. I like that. Takes user error out of the picture, Unlike radions.I would need too many to prevent shadowing long term - probably 8-12 of them IMO.
I like the edge to edge coverage but the disco twinkling with the amount of surface agitation I have is the deal killer for me.
You hit one of the two LED I liked! The Philips light shows some amazing potential if you want great light and dont care about crazy bells and whistles.
I have come around on this as well and feel the exact same way.Bells and whistles is why I just sold my radions. I thought I loved bells and whistles, until months past and corals weren't growing. Also passive cooling!? Liked that feature. More efficient, and no fans to go out after a couple years.
Schintzelreef the radion xr-3 pro cover 30" by 30" so he would need 8 radions not 12. Do your research before talking about things that you don't know...
Ding Ding Ding. This was my #2. I think this light was amazing. I feel that the uber-controllability is over the top. However, the edge-to edge look was nothing short of amazing. If I could put two of these over my tank, and so long as the PAR/PUR was adequate, I would go for it. However, because of all of that amazing controllability, they are a bit too pricey.Whats your impression after seeing the LaniLED (the One)? Talk about bells and whistles

So there you have it - you guys guessed my choices from InterZoo for large format LED fixtures - The Philips and the Lupy!

I love the look of T5. I hate the electricity cost, bulb replacement cost, and lack of controllability. I will look at both of those seriously. My third option is what BRS did. A AP700/T5 hybrid.
