Anybody have safe way to clean the outside glass on your marine aquarium? I cannot seem to get the glass clean and there always seem to be a smeared film on the surface. Nothing seems to work right.

I use Windex and paper towels. Spay on glass wipe away. Repeat. Usually takes 2-3 rounds if there is a lot of salt.
I'm sure a bit gets into the aquarium but I've never noticed any negative effects.
If you do good water changes usually it gets pulled out. If you're like me and do a water change every 3 months it gets dangerous very fast. Lol
All of the ingredients on the label sound pretty harmless to me. Sounds like a bunch of organic molecules that would be rapidly broken down by bacteria.
I'm curious which ingredient in Windex would build up over time and cause problems?
