looks like a Duncan coral
It has a other (much smaller) head growing out the side of it. Maybe it is a coral instead of a nem. The guy at the fish store didn't seem to know much about it. But there was a much larger one next to it that looked the same. I just figured it's got tentacles and looks like a nem so must be one. I have a lot more to learn.

If you don’t mind what is your LFS? Is it a petco or petsmart?? Also tell us about your tank and set up.

Looks like a Duncan coral like others stated... especially if you are seeing another smaller head off the side. Did they sell it to you as a Nem? Might want to get a refund depending on what you bought it for. Another question though... is the base (the foot if you will) is it hard or soft when you tried to glue it? Nem would be squishy Duncan would be hard.

The young guy who was there at the time didn't seem to know much about it. The base was definitely hard. Just googled Duncan corals. Sounds like that's what it is for sure.

How much did you pay? I’d also NEVER go back to that lfs.

Well not toooo bad, though usually a single Duncan is like $10-20 typically at an lfs. maybe $25
I guess I'll try gluing it to a rock and see how it goes. It's a cool looking coral so I'll just keep it rather than try to return it. Learning lesson for me as I begin my reefing journey.

How do you try gluing it to the rock? Also can you take a photo of what you’re trying to put the glue on and what glue you’re using. If you’re trying to put glue on the live flesh on the stem it won’t work. You have to put the glue on the frag plug, also what glue are you using?

That's a duncan.

Oops didnt refresh and see all the responses! You got it.

A couple of my Duncan’s

Do you mind telling us which LFS you got it at? There are several really good ones in your area, and a few some others that are questionable at best. I would check out Elite Reef and Aquamart.
