Gold Octospawn with a white feathery thing?

I bought a gold Octospawn yesterday and while doing reefroids today I saw this small white feathery thing? I have never owned octo before so is this a normal thing like a mouth or something? Posted the vid up on YouTube I hope it works. Video

Ive had a couple of these that always seemed harmless, assumed it was some sort of fan worm but never went looking for an ID.

I don’t think it’s hurting the coral in any way, it looks pretty fully extended to me and showed a feeding response to the reefroids. It disappears when the flow comes back on, weird little thing. I did not notice it in the store or during my inspection/acclimation which makes me think it’s burrowed somehow into the skeleton with very little skeleton of its own. I would’ve noticed something like a feather duster or vermetid snail like critter during the inspection

No, not IME. They are fairly common Euphyllia hitchhikers.
