I’m doing epoxy-superglue to glue stuff vertically onto my rocks now, it’s getting ridiculous. Yet I keep buying more corals... my rocks are cemented in place by coral growth and epoxy, if my nem moves 2 cm in any direction, a coral dies. The line between war and dazzling crowdedness is fine but dang I walk it well. The octo is fine with being touched occasionally by the hammer right? I did some light research I just wanna make super extra sure. I think I would curl up and cry for hours and hours if anything happened to this octo

Why?? That’s easy. 20 gallon tank... a LOT of corals. How?? Sheer willpower and spite because everybody says it’s impossible to fit more without all out war but I say otherwise. I credit my success on reefing without gloves, I know every inch of my rock. So when I impulsively buy more frags, I know exactly where I can epoxy them into with very little chance of it falling to it’s doom in the chasm of detritus below. Also, understanding the growth patterns of coral is very important when placing, especially branching corals like acros. They can be close together in the beginning, you just gotta make sure they grow apart.
