Wow that sucks! So now that you have owned one in the past I'm sure you were just as surprised as I was when you first seen the thing in person... It's really one of those corals that you just have to see there in front of you to have enough courage to dish out the price tag they fetch...time to get another?Here's when I had mine. I had it for months, and then one day it decided to hide behind the rock for a few months and disappear. It then showed up after 2-3 months as a tiny brown nub and then it just withered away. Was real sad.
Unfortunately, the tank they were under was a little clip on halide so they weren't so stunning. Wasn't until I took it home that my jaw dropped... And boy did it drop. Yup! Already asked Jess to keep me in mind with the next clone.

I'll tell you what though I didn't believe that the colors are actually this vibrant until I seen one in person... So I can see how you would think that something like this would be artificially made.
