Hey all
Been looking for a 90-100g aquarium that is of good quality, but not something like waterbox or Red Sea cause those are very expensive. I also don’t want to spend a thousand dollars

I just want a good tank pre drilled

thanks

I mean, they look nice and all,
But I don’t got $900 lying around for a tank

I would like a 112g for the 60” width cause I kinda want tangs and butterflies

I have a 90 gal Marineland corner overflow. I've had it for 5 years. Has a lifetime warranty. I have a yellow tang and a Copperband butterfly. I don't know if they have that size but Petsmart runs dollar a gallon sales all the time on tanks.

Honestly, If you want a large tank that is decent quality AND looks nice for less than $1000, you will likely have to get used. That being said, the tank is one of the least expensive parts of this hobby. I am just now stocking a 40b. The tank only cost $50, but I am into the build ~$2000 so far with more to go. This is with less expensive equipment like Jebao return pump, Nicrew HypeReef LED's, DIY stand, and no skimmer (yet).

Been looking on craigslist
Found one but haven’t received an email back yet

there is a 90g cube from sc aquariums on Craigslist with stand and sump for 500
2 months old and sca skimmer
would there be sufficient swim space for tangs and butterflies?

I would say no. You want 5-6' long. You should not have too much trouble finding a 120-150 gallon tank in that length, used. Keep looking. You will be much happier with that length.

I was happy with my custom build. Custom Aquariums built mine. Lifetime guarantee also. That is if you use their stand. I didn’t. Ha! Not terribly expensive either. Think I paid around 3,300.00 shipped. This was a custom 210.

Doing Aqueon here. If you are willing to put n some work check you big box pet store. Our local Pet World Warehouse Jude did some display tank upgrades and they are selling the old tanks for $50. Are dirty and may need some silicone but otherwise drilled and ready.

The sc 112 looks great, but I will need to work for 6 months mowing lawns to get it lol

Do it. It will be worth it. You can start cycling rock in a brute for several months. I did this for 4 months before my tank was ready. Start with a good foundation. Don't skimp on the tank.
