Good morning. Having our well cleaned this afternoon. First time ever doing this, but never had a well before either. I hope it helps with the smell and color of the water. I thought it was BS at first and they are just trying to take my money so I googled it and yeah, it is a thing that should be done at least every 10 years. That’s our state recommendation anyway. The thing is though it will take about 3 hours so no water for that time, or heat as we have a geothermal water furnace. Might have to turn on the gas fireplace for a bit. Anyone else had their well cleaned?

Good morning. Thank you so much for the PMs and comments, and for making me smile again. Your kindness is much appreciated. I'm trying to get back into normalcy. Fortunately, the grandkid invasion is coming Wednesday and is much needed. We can't help but laugh at their crazy antics. For once, I'm not complaining about work and am actually glad to have that distraction right now. We're working on converting our bonus room into a mancave, so we went to Costco yesterday and husband brought home a ginormous TV and soundbar for his new cave.

Fish are doing well. Thankfully, everything is mostly automated. I need to check parameters this weekend to make sure at least my alk/calcium are staying where they're supposed to stay. I'm seeing some algae in the BioCube, so I need to do a w/c this week. It's not as forgiving as the 90, as far as parameters go.

At least I have a short work week and I don't have to cook. Cracker Barrel is taking care of that! Have a great Monday.
 
Quick question. I have never sold anything on Facebook before and we have a local club with a page. How much do you think I should ask for this 5" diameter toadstool? It comes on the rock with the mushroom and it's babies.

just so you're aware FB does not allow sale of live item unless you're a licensed seller.
i've been on a few reef pages they have shut down because of people advertising corals for sale with prices.
best to ask the page admin how to proceed.

OK, thanks. Maybe it's only a matter of time before this facebook reefing group gets shut down. People sell animals on it a lot. Usually, they put "send me a PM if you are interested". Maybe that's how they get away with it.

Good Morning! the heated bird bath was low so i topped it off, and realized the concrete one had rainwater that had frozen in it because when i emptied it i forgot to take the bowl off of the stand so i did that and i had forgotten to take the hose off of the side of the house so i did that hopefully neither has taken freeze damage. Hey, I didn't say i was ready for Winter!

Good morning, 24 out today. I went out with the dog and to my surprise, I ran back inside. So did she.... No one is ready for freezing temps here.

Good morning. My daughter is into tattoos big time. She came home from college with 2 more making that 8 now. Can’t say that I’m thrilled about her choices of tattoos. Bones and sculls and weird creatures. She told me this morning she is saving for one on her side to get this summer. She proceeded to tell me it is going to be a fox, (I am thinking oh, finally one that will look nice and I will actually approve of) but then she continues to tell me the head and tail will be normal fox and in the middle will be the skeleton of the fox. ;Facepalm
