I almost wished my boss would tell me that. She's in Mexico for a month though leaving me with the fun here.

wouldn't be a not so great thing thing if it wasn't last minute.
scheduled us to work and then pulled the rug yesterday.
i coulda been heading outa town.

Last second schedule changes are the worst. I had a manager explain to me when I first started writing a schedule that you control your workers lives. I have taken that to heart. If I have to make a last second change, they get some kind of bonus.

True story.
Major weather disaster. Boss has a meeting. This is an all hands on deck situation. Everyone will be working 7 days plus 2 additional hours a day. I am going on vacation so if you have a problem call Kenny, the manager of the other crew.

Now when I hear the phrase all hands on deck I have an overwhelming urge to slap someone. Unless an old navy movie is on the TV.

3 days to MRI.
I am kind of leaning toward just going with the full android body now though.

i had a super send email (after my flex time was taken away)
"we are 5.5 weeks behind. (me: no... you are) we need to do whatever it takes to get caught up."
so i wandered over to his desk and asked if i was getting my flex time back to work past 6:30.
super: "no.... you need to start working earlier."
me: ;Hilarious ;Hilarious ;Hilarious ;Hilarious ;Hilarious ;Facepalm ;Facepalm ;Facepalm. no.... i don't. but you need to stop sending me these emails, as i can't take you serious because you aren't willing to do "whatever it takes" and get my flex time back."

i got removed from the group.:cool:

waiting for my mri results for an mri i don't know what they are looking for.

Oh, she gets cash too but if given all that n cash it would go to tattoos and not the clothes she needs. But then again I do have a problem sending $50 a a ripped up pair of brand new jeans.

It's frustrating that I now have dinos and bryopsis simultaneously because of a salifert phosphate test that went bad somehow. And maybe because of some stupidity on my part.

Good Morning My Friends!
Hope you all had a nice Christmas, ours was very quiet, just the two of us and all of our critters.
Still battling the nighttime headaches but the O2 seems to help make them shorter lived and less intense. Results are in from all of my many scans ( I wonder if I glow in the dark yet ). There is a cyst on my aorta (benign) that may have to be removed. Seeing the otolaryngologist tomorrow morning to see what’s going on with my throat. Always something, isn’t it?
Angela flys back home from Corpus Cristy tonite and tomorrow is her birthday. She is actually taking the entire day off tomorrow then a special dinner out.
More strong to severe storms are headed our way later today. Only 2 out of 5 on the severe scale but still pretty nerve wracking. The storm shelter people are closed for the holidays so we have not yet scheduled an appointment for a consultation on where to have it installed.
Not much other news here. Just same ole same ole!

Good Morning! It's a toasty 3 this morning. Should warm all the way up to 17. Small storm expected this weekend, maybe 6-8 inches. Thankfully tomorrow is my Friday. This is one of the toughest and craziest weeks of the year for us. I have almost convinced the owner to buy us a skid steer. It would make cleaning up the snow so much easier.
I got one of my "Desert Island" records in yesterday. The Devil Makes Three self titled album. I have to try hard to not wear it out. Have a great day and stay safe!

was visitng my daughter last night when I asked if I could borrow a newspaper. “This is the 21st century. We don’t read newspapers! Here, use my iPad,” she said.

I’ll tell you one thing. Neither the fly nor the iPad survived.
 
Good morning. Decided to feed to corals this morning, because I was too tired yesterday. Have to protect them from the fish.

So I put in the long arm scraper and the scopas is fighting with it. When fish have their mind set on something, that is all they can think about.
