Good morning!

it’s grey and gently raining here. I’ve been napping on the couch this morning. Didn’t sleep that much last night.
woke up when my SO came to bed. Then two hours later the smoke detector decided to play us the song of its people. Couldn’t find smoke anywhere.
Then had trouble falling back asleep.

but it’s okay. I have an absurdly comfy couch and an absurdly cuddly nap buddy.

Either I get this fixed or I need to get a battery back up or I switch brands.
My son in law is going to stop by tomorrow. I call him my millennial tech support. If he can't get it hooked up to the wifi then I'm getting on the phone with BRS.

this is strange. my power goes out, I have a full house generator that powers up in 15 seconds, and the pump runs fine.
I don't use the wifi.
I would contact sicce usa direct. the guys are very helpful.
 
Good Morning! I, for one, find your experiences very informative. Thank you for being on the bleeding edge and reporting the conditions there to those of us following behind. Some information is similar to finding an ocean chart that depicts monsters out near the edge of the world. did the explorer experience that or were they doodling on the margin out beyond their travels? It is credible to those who have never set foot on a boat. "oh, and don't forget the harpoons, we're going to need them"

I will contact them again after my millennial tech support gives it a go. If the power blips, the controller just starts flashing, Someone else mentioned the same issue with the 7.0 model. At least I know I'm not crazy. (Well - not about this anyway.)

It had great food, but no atmosphere.

It sounds like the speed setting is not getting saved locally as it should. When the pump is running at the proper speed, is the little red padlock indicator lit up red? Top left corner. If not, the speed setting has never been saved. Tap the ON/OFF center button. That should light of the padlock and save your setting.

I don't think the instructions actually cover this basic function. Not in English anyway.

Millennial Tech Support came over today. It took him a few tries and a few choice words about Sicce but he got it connected. The little padlock is lit now. Fingers crossed for the next brown out. Thanks for the tip!
Pulled about 20% of the rock (without corals) to move to the new tank. Spend a good amount of time assassinating vermetid snails. That was oddly satisfying. I build three face frames for the canopy. Neck gave out, so I'll pick that up another day. At this rate, I should have lights up by the end of next week and then everybody can start moving.

Tomorrow is going to be an eventful day. I have a job interview at 10. I'm expecting a call in the afternoon to get more info on the surgery and most importantly .... it's my daughters 21rst birthday. No matter what happens with my job or my surgery - I'm blessed.

Both my post grad kids get called in for tech support on occasion. I think they get some satisfaction from it so happy to call them in for it.

It reminds me of when my grandparents used to call us to program their VCR.
He called me when he got home to tell me that he read a bunch of online reviews about the SDC pumps and that they are notorious for dropping the router connection then starts going into some long explanation about what the process is to reset it.
After listening to my deafening silence, he added "and when that happens, just call Millennial Tech Support."

Good morning. I heard that 2 radio antennas got married at that restaurant last week. The wedding was boring but the reception was amazing!

Good morning. Let the overtime games begin! Going to be a long 2 months, but things are going to change in September. I'm just going to ride it out until then.

I worked over some mushrooms this weekend with the majano wand. That was fun. These mushrooms came from my original tank and survived the tank apocalypse. They can survive anything....except the majano wand. I normally leave them alone. You start messing with my acans, though, and you're doomed! I just trimmed a little off the top. :D

Dr Brain Dude changed up my meds a bit. 2 weeks of hell. I slept all night from 11-7 for the first time this year.
Feels weird. I am going to have to pick a new exercise time. I have been doing it at 5 every morning.

I have always been the tech support for all things in our family. Cars, pets, computers, babies, cooking, anything broken. I have retired and forced them to fend for themselves. I wont be around forever. I still do phone consultations though.

Off to the kitchen to make PZ juice. PeterZammetti is just too long.
