this is strange. my power goes out, I have a full house generator that powers up in 15 seconds, and the pump runs fine.Yep - I still cannot connect it to the wifi either. I do not know if I can correct the issue once I get connected to the wifi but right now... this is a huge PITA. Thankfully, all that is in the tank is sand and rock. If I had corals in there and it does this, I will blow them to bits. We've had three brown outs in two days. I was not home for the first one. It freaked my husband out.... all he heard was the massive sucking sound from the siphon on the main drain ... followed by watching the sump level rapidly rise. Thankfully power kicked back on before he had the chance to see how high the water would go. Unfortunately, the pump came back on at 100% (not 30% as I had manually set it). He said it came out like a fire hose.
Either I get this fixed or I need to get a battery back up or I switch brands.
My son in law is going to stop by tomorrow. I call him my millennial tech support. If he can't get it hooked up to the wifi then I'm getting on the phone with BRS.
I will contact them again after my millennial tech support gives it a go. If the power blips, the controller just starts flashing, Someone else mentioned the same issue with the 7.0 model. At least I know I'm not crazy. (Well - not about this anyway.)this is strange. my power goes out, I have a full house generator that powers up in 15 seconds, and the pump runs fine.
I don't use the wifi.
I would contact sicce usa direct. the guys are very helpful.
It sounds like the speed setting is not getting saved locally as it should. When the pump is running at the proper speed, is the little red padlock indicator lit up red? Top left corner. If not, the speed setting has never been saved. Tap the ON/OFF center button. That should light of the padlock and save your setting.I will contact them again after my millennial tech support gives it a go. Millennial Tech Support came over today. It took him a few tries and a few choice words about Sicce but he got it connected. The little padlock is lit now. Fingers crossed for the next brown out. I don't think the instructions actually cover this basic function. Not in English anyway.
Both my post grad kids get called in for tech support on occasion. I think they get some satisfaction from it so happy to call them in for it.Millennial Tech Support came over today. Pulled about 20% of the rock (without corals) to move to the new tank. Spend a good amount of time assassinating vermetid snails. That was oddly satisfying. I build three face frames for the canopy. Neck gave out, so I'll pick that up another day. At this rate, I should have lights up by the end of next week and then everybody can start moving.
Tomorrow is going to be an eventful day. I have a job interview at 10. I'm expecting a call in the afternoon to get more info on the surgery and most importantly .... it's my daughters 21rst birthday. No matter what happens with my job or my surgery - I'm blessed.
It reminds me of when my grandparents used to call us to program their VCR.Both my post grad kids get called in for tech support on occasion. I think they get some satisfaction from it so happy to call them in for it.
I/we share your perspective about all the blessings and wishing you strength for the interview and the medical work you have ahead.
Good morning. I heard that 2 radio antennas got married at that restaurant last week. The wedding was boring but the reception was amazing!Did you hear about the first restaurant to open on the moon?
It had great food, but no atmosphere.
It's Monday.....Amen and Good Morning!I feel bad. I got a bit sarcastic with a newbie who was going to follow some really bad advice from people that don't even have build threads or avatars. Never mind his refractometer, his bull excrement detector is way off.
I wasn't the only one telling him don't do that. The people that know things don't speak up anymore. Idiots are going to drag us all down.
