I'm trying to fight your battle too. Pregnancy at almost 40 was very hard on my body. He is completely worth it. I am trying to stay off meds. Difficult.

I ate low carb for a year. Lost 30 pounds and got my A1C down a little. But my blood sugar was still too high. Genetics plays a big part and you cant fix that. My brother went way too long before doing anything and had numb feet and poor vision. Once the damage is done it never goes away.
I am being very proactive with this.

I have enough accumulated battle damage already and don't want more.

Jill was 42 when she had Jeanna. I remember sweating the bullets over the testing.
