Morning and best of luck @WVNed. Looks like you got what we had in Tennessee, just a lot worse. I had pea sized hail at the house, but it past fast.

I took the dogs and went to the basement
I thought it might be a tornado

Sounded like baseballs hitting the windows
This system went through an 8 hour outage before but I could tell it wouldn’t make it into noon without some death.

Good morning
We had a big storm and the power has been out since 2pm Friday. Hail the size of walnuts. It was supposed to be fixed by 10pm Friday they changed it to 12pm Saturday
So we went and got a generator and I am on my phone
My tank got down to 73. We will see. I have the return pump, skimmer and heaters running now
We got the garage freezer going to save most of the food.

Time for a warm beer.
Fumbling around in the dark I managed to knock my flex pvc drain out of the sump and flooded the stand when the return pump came on

Lots of electric wires and saltwater everywhere
When you get so tired you are stupid and you weren’t real smart to begin with

Man. I lost my nano and all the inhabitants except blennie and the fist sized Halloween hermit from hades. That was just before adding water to my 230!! I just installed a whole home generator (only does one fuse box) with an automatic transfer switch.

There is a lot of stuff to clean out of the gutters and in the yard but I think the house is ok. There is a ton of stuff on the roof
I guess we will look into a generator.
Our old house was easy everything was gas

I have a colman stove just for such occasions. They have breaker panels now that you plug your portable generator in and flip the switch. very safe and economical, unless you can spring for the super deluxe model. Hope everything turns out well

The fish have built a little pyramid out of rock and it looks like the sail fin is going to sacrifice one of the chromis to end the darkness
