Good Morning!

Today I traded the Tundra in for a car. No need anymore. I hate buying cars and right now it is really hard and weird.
This is my new used car. It a 2020 Subaru Impreza Sport with 20,000 miles. It has a Harman Kardon 485w equivalent
audio amp (whatever that means) plus 8 speakers including a subwoofer. AWD will get me up the mountain in the winter. I wish it was red but there isn't much to look at right now. All the car lots are empty.

It still has some time on the Subaru warranty and then I got an extended one for 10 years 120,000 miles.
And since the Tundra only had 39,500 miles on it even though I have had it 6 years I get a check on Monday as well.
Jill wants to quit work in December of this year. So we will make it happen. This car should be way cheaper to insure than the truck and it will get a lot more than 11 miles to the gallon.

Trust me. If I weren’t kidding and there was a drone flying over my house, it would be scattered all over the neighborhood. LOL!
Theres always 2 or 3 drones flying over my house, some come right into my bedroom. I don't know what thats all about

Good morning. This morning like most mornings I walked on the beach to watch the sunrise.
Always beautiful
Beach walk.jpeg

I never walked this way before because this beach if a few hundred yards west of where I live so it was new to me and of course at 6:00am I almost never see anyone.

I live on top of bluffs where the beach is way below and we all have "beach stairs" to get down to the beach. Some of them are pretty cool but may be a little scary.

But being it is not always a great idea building something on a sandy cliff, some of them don't last to long. This one is only the top 20' so you have to roll down the bottom 100' ;Wideyed

This one is a little precarious

I think the premise of this one is after you climb up this 15' platform you can then get cell service to call an Uber and they can lower a rope from the top or hire a helocopter.

Good morning
Jill is at the Emery family reunion. There is a horde of them. Jeanna and Kirks family are going too.
mary_malissa_ferguson_large.jpg

This is Wilford. He had 3 wives and a mistress and was in the Civil war. He made lots of kids (23 if I am remembering right). Jill's great grandfather. Jill's grandfather is one of 7 from the first wife. Jill's Father is one of 7 as well.
They were a baby making bunch.
I have been to the reunions many times and 200-300 people came.

I stayed home this time to watch the dogs and cats and buy cars and things.

Good Morning All!
Dreary day with a chance of rain. We were going to go to the LFS this morning but plans have changed. Too much other stuff to get done, clean parrot cages, hen house etc. I have an appointment to get tires on the car later today in West Nashville and didn’t want to make the trip twice in one day so fish store tomorrow.
Hope Y’all have a great day today. Happy Weekend!

Quick question. I have some Utter Chaos zoas that have been happy and growing in their spot for 5 or so months. For some unknown reason they have started to bleach. Do you think I should I put them down on the sand?
It might be worth a try. My BioCube is a zoa tank. I've had a few random frags just melt away, while the others (about 20-something frags) are doing great. I have no idea why. I had another large frag just recently close up for over a week. It's back open now....weird. I've looked for nudibranches and other sea monsters, but haven't seen anything.

Congrats on the new wheels!

Good morning Reefers... Well... It's morning someplace, just not Florida. Had to work this morning. Then I helped hubby paint, which is not great for the neck... But hey PT traction is doing wonders! Still more coats to go tomorrow. Would rather be reefing. I walked by Leo tonight and he splashed me. He won't be ignored. I forgot to feed him. I think I offended him by dropping in Betta fish pellets. This is what happens when I'm not wearing my glasses.

Hubby is complaining that he never wanted to paint the ceiling. Looks like I've just annoyed all the males in this house today. At least I didn't feed him Betta fish pellets for dinner.

Have a blessed evening. @Wen I hope your plumbing was successful today!
@Peace River I hope you had fun in Sarasota!!

Please take care of yourself and don't overdo it - you matter to us!!!

The RVA Frag Swap is a small show but it was enjoyable. It was good to reconnect with friends and connect with a few new friends. I didn't buy a lot, but I did add a nice frag of Everlasting Gobstopper zoas and a $100 @Reef Nutrition gift certificate from the raffle.

A big shout out and thank you to Neptune, Ecotech, Sicce, Reef Nutrition, and Fritz for their very generous support of small shows!

What are you painting? Ceilings are so difficult, ugh, but worth it...when your laying on the floor, or couch, or in bed.

I am wiped out! We took a time lapse video of today, not sure if it’s top secret so I’d better not share.

Looking at Fusion and the Ring cams to check on the tank. Why does ATK switch to Off when I’m gone. It’ll be fine, but annoying.
And check out the Ring cam. What is that glow?!!! 0465D664-ECFF-49D4-AB0E-130D0EDE5C3F.jpeg 7F629D61-CB45-4C1F-B895-1E838F5FCA21.jpeg
makes me a tad nervous....

Ever hear of the story "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie?" Well, after the RO Flood, we had buckling of the floor in another room. We pulled up the plank vinyl and it was the wood (glued floor) beneath. So... Hired a contractor to remove... This pulled up big chunks of the slab. Next, pay to relevel and epoxy seal the slab. Then hubby had to relay the original plank vinyl. This means replacing the baseboards again and painting them. He was all set to replace the furniture when I brought up that the ceiling has been yellow since we bought the house. So he says he doesn't want to cut it in. I said fine...we'll paint everything white then. (Sarcastically) Well... It's all white now. The floor was 525 sq ft, so lots of wall and ceiling.
I stand by the ceiling needed to be painted... But hubby is not a happy camper. I gave him 7.5 of Meloxicam. Now he sleeps... He's muttering "no more projects" in his sleep. I think I broke him.
Can't wait to see your "secret" video. I'm so excited for you guys!

Thank you very much for the concern. PT has been doing wonders. I'm starting to feel human again. This may be false confidence but I'll enjoy the moment.
Gobstoppers!!! Sounds like it was worth the trip.
