About to take my third O’ Flight with the Civil Air Patrol!!

I love birds. If I wanted extra limbs with no control and beaks and claws, I would get birds again.
This was Skittles and Meowi.
I was never alone, ever. They made sure of it.

10 hour shift today.

@Mibu, the torch gave me a frickin heart attack last night. I thought for sure it was dead, because I could see it’s skeleton so well. NOPE, sure enough, this morning it was perfectly fine.

When you see the skeleton plates and they have no tissue on them, it's going going.... to be gone.

Tupoc and Rodman. The names came with them. They were given to us.

Then there was Marco, Buddy, Pearly, Lewis and some others whos names escape me at the moment.

Marco was my Moms. He lived to be about 32. We took him after she passed.
Jeanna was asking how long lovebirds live.
Like I said. Jill is the bird person. I just have to do the heavy duty care stuff like taking a Dremel too to their beaks when they get old.

I love birds. I just can't have any with a 2 and a half yr old. Don't get me wrong. I miss them. But they are like little kids and throw nasty tantrums when they don't get their way. I have been bitten so many times trying to put them to bed (cage) During the day the cage door is open and they would be allowed to free fly. Night is bed time and they hated it.

Of course, every bird is going to be different. Jill is an amazing person for dealing with birds. They are so unique compared to other animals.

After owning hook bills, I never understood how being called a bird brain was an insult.

You do have an amazing family.

I would love to put that rock in my tank, except it is bigger than a 1968 Oldsmobile 442 convertible with dual exhausts.
It is also underwater for most of the day as the tide here rises about 8'

rocks like that scare me.
a lot of them where i duck hunt.
seen a few guys tear off lower units because they didn't know the area.

I always though flying must be hard. At the Outer Banks is a little airport. It advertised flying lessons. Kirk wanted to go so I made that happen. That's why I am so amazing. There is not much I cant, no, not right now or maybe next year in me.
So he did ground school for an hour.
Then we got in the plane. I got in the back
and he flew it.

Him flying it includes several takeoffs and landings. It was all very cool. The instructor guy was the best.

I was amazed at how loud it was. We flew threw some rain and it sounded like we were being shot at. I had ear muffs on but wasn't in the com system so I could just sit and watch. OMG Kirk is landing the plane. OMG he is taking off again. HE DID IT.

Sure, fly over oakridge cemetery and attach a parachute on to the package, make sure it lands under the red arrow.
Now one visits old Ab's old tomb. Just me and my son.
