Son called. 5G MUST GET, EMERGENCY EMERGENCY. We are all on a family plan I get a discount on from my past life as an adult worker ant. I guess I will look into it today. He sent me an email about it with a quote from ATT, so I printed it to show Jill.
30 pages printed out. 20 pages of fine print legal garbage.
Not sure I want a phone that requires 20 pages of fine print rules, regulations, exclusions and legal definitions just so I can get cute kid pics 0.003 seconds faster.

Good Morning Everyone!
We had a fun weekend trip to the Smokies but I’m done visiting the tourist area of Gatlinburg. Too crowded, too noisy and it has become VERY politically charged.we’ve seen enough offensive political tee shirts, flags and banners to last a lifetime.
Pigeon Forge has a bunch of fun stuff to see.
All the critters faired well in out absence and it was great (for me) to get away, even for just one night.

Good morning everyone. Our wash machine died last night, so we went old school to finish the load.

Once again reality was closed. Continue to pretend everything is okay and go on.

An event had a tiny mention in the news here. It was at the home of the person our local paper supports for governor
He is an official and his wife is a judge. They didnt bother to print the story.


A drunken riot with over 100 minors (I heard 150). They went to bed and know nothing. Their child who is 14 hosted the drunken riot. Police were at the scene and medical transport was required for at least 2 children.

No charges were filed. The Salango’s said they fully cooperated and provided police with surveillance video which revealed more and more people showing up at the party in a short period of time. Many of the uninvited guests parked elsewhere and walked into the Salango property which was littered with trash after the gathering ended.

Charleston Police Chief of Detectives Tony Hazlett couldn’t say very much about the investigation since it involved mostly juveniles.

One teen was treated for a wrist injury suffered while running from the police. A second was extremely intoxicated and had to be transported to the hospital.

Obey the rules serfs. Lets pretend this is just a difference of political opinion and move on.
The husband (law enforcement) of one of my wife's coworkers and the daughter of another (pharmacist) were there.

We went in July and didn't even make it up the mountain! It's been ridiculously crowded every time we've gone up the mountain over the last few years, especially this time of year. We just took a day trip to Pigeon Forge and, of course, the Apple Barn Restaurant!

We also go to the Apple Barn every time we are there. Only been in the restaurant once but we always shop there to stock up on jams and apple butter. Very cool place. They must have just harvested because they have quite the variety of “fresh picked” for sale By the peck and half peck. We also got some nice new tree ornaments in the Christmas Shop.

We also go to the Apple Barn every time we are there. Only been in the restaurant once but we always shop there to stock up on jams and apple butter. Very cool place. We actually went for lunch this time, which was great just like breakfast. They still bring the basket of apple fritters with lunch! We love Apple Barn. Been going there for years. My husband used to have a convention in Gatlinburg every October and I used to bring the boys up for a few days when they were younger. It was always a great trip and Apple Barn was required on the way out of town. I have many ornaments from the Christmas Shop! ;Joyful

Mornin’ Everyone!
I had planned on doing an oil and filter change on the Escape today but we got rain overnight and the ground is too wet to be laying on.
We‘re a little worried about “Toby the Goby”. He never came out of hiding for yesterday mornings feeding. Saw him for a brief moment during the day but didn’t come out for the afternoon feeding. Waiting for the lights to start ramping up now and hoping he makes an appearance. Definitely a cool fish and I’d hate to have lost him.
We are already up to our ankles in leaves here so it looks like the first gutter cleaning of the season will be pretty soon.
