Good Morning!

ty. It sucks gaining an attachment. Even though he wasn't my dog, he was part of the family.
i'm a dog guy. always have been.
toughest part of having them in the family is making "that" decision.

I know. We make it a family debate so no one carries the weight alone. Saying goodbye, never easy.

Could use some brighter news though.

hey.... ned...... what the doc say?
I see him tomorrow at 330. Soonest I could get. I am no longer in constant pain, as long as I don't move. Sort of impossible since I am here by myself. Had a couple of maddening nights. But I was crazy already so no damage done.

I am not sad for myself so dont be sad for me. I have things to do. I just get mad when I cant.
My gas stove needs a new thermopile. I took the old one out but haven't been able to go get the new one to put in and I couldn't roll around in the floor right now anyway.
I put the last of the doser juice in yesterday and will have to make more soon.

I know what is wrong with me in general. Poor physical condition in general from extended health things. For the first time in my life I got told to sit with my feet up instead of get more exercise.
Then my gait went off and I was using my left leg for strength things. I have irritated a nerve either in my lumbar region
or pelvis which is called sciatica. Hopefully they can tell me something better than the 1 step forward 2 steps back I have managed myself.

i'm awaiting a call back for an mri scheduling.
after the multiple questions it was determined they weren't sure if i could get one.
the question in question "do you have any metal foreign objects in your body?".
apparently "maybe" was the wrong answer.
when i was 14 my brother and i decided meeting at the top of a hill head on, with motorcycles,
was a good idea.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
severely broken hand that the surgeon told me was going to be pulled together with piano wire and left there.
i've had multiple mri's since and my hand has never been magnetized to the inside of the mri.:p

Good Morning All!
I haven’t been online in a while. Cluster Headache cycle is “out of control”. Four nights of uninterrupted sleep, NOT consecutive, in the past seventy three nights. My Neurologist is at her wits end. We are attempting to get me on high flow oxygen with a “non re breather” mask to use during an attack but are battling with my insurance over it. They claim that they won’t cover O2 for cluster headache treatment. It’s known to work to lessen the severity of an attack. She prescribed me Lithium, which I don’t really want to take and Sumatriptan nasal spray.
I can’t do the Sumatriptan injections because of prior stroke history. Been on the highest dose possible of Verapamil for a few years and actually went into remission but that has stopped working.
There is something that has proven to end an attack and is being used worldwide but , let’s just say, it’s not very legal in the U.S.! A low dose sublingual derivative of Psilocybin (magic mushrooms).
Ive been getting a lot of support from ClusterBusters, a forum devoted to headache sufferers.
Angela left for the airport at 3:15 this morning to catch the early flight to Florida to visit with her Mom this weekend then, on Sunday, she drives to southern Florida for business. Then to Chicago and home again next Friday. It’ll be a long week without her here but it’s better if she’s not here when I’m having nighttime attacks.
Sorry for the long “rant”/“sob story”. Just helps to talk about it some times.
Hope Y’all have a great day.

P.S.
Ive fallen behind on my chores. If anyone wants to come and blow leaves, you’re welcome to! :p

Redemonstration of a 4 mm triangular metallic radiopaque foreign body seen in the superficial posterior lateral soft tissues of the calf.
I shattered an axe splitting wood a very long time ago. A piece of it is still with me.

Good Morning! I opted for the fresh ground coffee this morning, the beans were in the grinder but i cannot remember what beans they are.
Cool, a blind test for my buds:
1. is gourmet worth buying?
2. can i tell by the taste what variety i am drinking?
hmmmm, 1.pass: it is definitely yummy ; 2. my taste buds lack the sophistication to identify the beans so that's a fail.
more research and taste training is called for: Coffee On!
Not a great purpose for life but one i accept, lol

Same. We are also ready for 2021 to come to an end. So sorry about your sister's beautiful dog.

I am so sorry you're having to deal with the cluster headaches. My son, who had debilitating migraines, was also diagnosed with cluster headaches. I know how horrible they can be. I hope and pray you find some answers soon.

You can if you do your own roast. The flavor is different - if you buy roasted beans, you often get an unwanted sour taste. Sour cherry, bitter lemon, moldy dirt.... After I learned a few things about roasting coffee, I wont be going back to pre roasted or ground coffee. If I can avoid it!

Good morning!! Rough night sleeping. Trains were loud and one guy seems to like to keep his hand on the horn as he drives through springfield. It woke my son up and he was terrified. Odd, as this happens once a week.

Same. We are also ready for 2021 to come to an end. So sorry about your sister's beautiful dog.
ty, he was a ragdoll. He loved children and would sit on their laps like a stiff stuffed toy. They would would just hold him and pet him, his ears and his nose and he would lay there. I would always watch to make sure they didn't hurt him. He was a love bug... The female though, she was traumatized as a pup and never grew to accept strangers in the house. She was attacked (sniffed) by a pitbull as a puppy. I think what triggered the trauma was the owner ran over and beat on his dog. I Never understood why he did it.

Good morning. Lots of hurt going on here, including myself. Our DIL called last night to read me a letter she found that our son had left. We're doing better in general, but this has been a tough, tough year. We thought 2020 was bad. I'd like to pretend that 2021 never existed.

I have to look for the positives, as hard as they are to find right now. The biggest positive is our precious grandchildren. You can't help but laugh at their silly antics. We will be out of town with two of them over Christmas. We need to be out of town now. It helps. Another positive is our upcoming cruise in January. If covid goes crazy and the cruise industry slams shut again, we have plan B. Both plans involve warmth and beaches. Another positive is my tanks are somehow doing well, even with my neglect lately.

Life can throw some crazy curveballs...we just have to make the best of those situations and keep moving forward. At least, that's what I have to do.

Have a great Friday! :)
