No one else seemed to think it was terrible! Even the lift operator was laughing at me laying on the ground trying to pull my eyes open. I'm getting to old for that. I don't do anything below about 0 now.

I saw a video where a lift was not running and a water main was busted directly under a chair with people on it. That might have been the worst experience ever.

slopes here have to "make" snow when mother nature isn't up to the task.
was on a chair one time when they were making snow and they had the nozzle pointing at the the chair path.
we got rained on.

Good morning! I just barely made it! Big week this week. We're supposed to leave Thursday and head "south," as in way south. I'm not sure where we'll end up just yet, but I'll take anywhere warm.

The worst part is preparing the tanks. My auto feeder doesn't seem to be working right. Thank goodness I set it up ahead of time for a trial run. Our local son/family are just 15 minutes away and will be coming by the check on things. I guess worst case, they will have to be the auto feeder. I'm making a bunch of extra RO water in case they need to add to the reservoirs. I can normally get a good 12 days on the 90 and probably longer on the BioCube.

I must be getting old. I just saw a post in the "meet and greet" thread where a guy said that his wife and their girlfriend decided to put a tank in their living room. So is that a standard thing now?

Good morning everyone! Here's a recap of the football game last night, a lot of short bursts of energy followed by a bit of rest...this was repeated for a few hours.

In the end, the dogs won. This may seem inconsequential to many of you, but for some reason I lost sleep yesterday so I could find this out.

It's a toasty 17 degrees here on Long Island. Thats above zero. I am not in Yellowstone.
I took a day off from walking today because I walked every day since Halloween and I wanted to give my feet a rest for a day and I think the garbage men and school bus drivers are getting tired of waving to me in the dark.

I thought it might be the one in my picture! Pardon the lousy crooked cell phone picture of a picture....in the dark! I've actually never been to the Outer Banks. Most of my lighthouse trips have been along the coast of New England, California, or the Caribbean. My poor husband knows if I see a lighthouse, out comes the camera and be prepared to stand there....for a long time!!

I actually got bored with the game and went to bed...but I have it recorded! I was glad the dogs won, for the first time in over 40 years! I remember Herschel Walker well. When I lived in Jacksonville, our next door neighbor was president of the Jacksonville Bulldog club. He had the GA emblem tiled in the bottom of his pool!

Same here! We have plenty of lighthouse pictures, paintings, ceramics, etc. throughout our home!
