Good morning everyone! I'm in the process of setting up a brine shrimp hatchery station with six cones (e.g. inverted bottles). Yesterday I completed the assembly of the system and did the initial "wet" test to test for leaks, balance the air bubbles across the cones, etc. There were no leaks and it all balanced with enough air from a manifold connected to one air pump, but I noticed that the large air pump that I was using was running very hot (enough that it crossed my risk management threshold!). It looks like I will start with only two cones run by a smaller air pump and then figure out how to move forward.
Although they have been discontinued, I was also able to find some new-old-stock Sicce Wave Surfer Controllers that I hope to use in a future experiment.
By the way, Trash Panda Aquaculture is one of the best places to get rock flowers anemones.
