Good Morning Scurvy. Not too much Caffeine, you have all day for coffee breaks. Hey remember you can bypass the membrane on the rodi and just use resin, yes it will exhaust but it will be on hand when needed. I can make 35 gallons in under 30 min. get it warming and then that's out of your hair.
Good luck today.

Sending you good vibes to help get you through this unfortunate nightmare.

Please keep us abreast of any happenings.

PBT and Angel are in the MB bath now.

Question. Should they all get a FW/MB bath or just the fish showing signs?

Protocol would be all, to reduce the number of incoming parasites to the QT... but it’s up to you. If you are starting copper today, it is less risky to skip the ones that look ok.

Be extra-observant with the fairy wrasses in the fw dip, watch their breathing... if it seems like it is slowing down you might pull them early. Most tolerate it just fine, but I’ve had a couple I’ve pulled around the three minute mark.

Thank you. The first fairy in the FW did okay. As soon as it hit the MB it was trying to jump. Settled down after a minute though.

Rose Band got through 20 min of the MB dip then started freaking out so I pulled her. Gonna watch her for a bit before i go forward with the other fairy wrasse.

Eek... you can skip the mb bath if you don’t want to risk it. The fw dip is what is reducing the parasites, the mb is just an antiseptic to help prevent infection. I usually use rally (acriflavine) with all of my wrasses, they tolerate it quite well.

Saving the Mandarin for last but while Im thinking of it how do they usually handle the dips?
He's going in his own tank? I wouldn't bother with dipping him if he doesnt have symptoms... they are fairly parasite-resistant. Have you had any luck sourcing CP?

Great, based in earlier discussion that was my thought but wanted confirmation.

No CP yet, nobody in either LFS had a clue what I was asking for. I will need to order it. That was the last 14 days for him if I remember correctly?

One guy pretty much told me I was stupid for trusting a forum over him. I pointed at his obviously sick and dying fish and said thanks Ill pass on your advice. I don’t normally shop there but it’s the closest so i gave them a shot for the meds. They didn't have them.

Mandy have a really thick slim coat with any luck it may not be infected yet.

My clowns and six line were completely asymptomatic thru the whole process. Only the tangs showed the spots, and the Atlantic had some secondary infections.

The Tangs were not surprisingly the most obvious with symptoms but once the UV light was all that was in late Sunday night I could see all the wrasse were covered too.

They look a lot better in the QT now after the dips.
