Got my first Anemone!

Your tank is way too clean did you experience any algae bloom within 6 months. Established tanks have a least some algae, you have way too clean, the rocks look like it just put into the tank. I would recommend adding some beneficial algae that will coat the rocks. I used Algaebarn ocean magnik to seed my tank with some green algae to look more natural.

BTA are little stinkers. They go where they want, when they want. I had my first one on a rock in the front and it would crawl to the back. I would flip the rock around. The next day, it was back in the back. I turned that rock like a walk through door for weeks before it gave up and went to another rock. I had that nem for three years. I think the best thing I can say is be patient. They are more stubborn that you are and easily stressed.

Give it a few days .
They are known for traveling .
even after settling in one spot for a long time. .
One day just decide to go for a walk around the block a few times .

some times they end up in wave makers ,
Invest in mess covers or use nylon panty hose and elastic around the wave maker to assure they can’t get in .

A happy anemone isn’t a wandering anemone .....

If you have nem guards i would recommend using them. Speaking form experience. Your nem should be fine. You water is good. Btas are heardy. You got this.

I got my first anemone for my clownfish tank. It seems happy, its just kind of hiding... how long will it stay in hiding? I cant imagine it picking this spot as its permanent spot as its very low lighting and cut off from any current really.
