Sorry to hear that. I actually received acros from fedex today and they came 1 hour earlier than the estimated delivery. I never had problems with fedex before, but that might not be true based on where you live.

I arrange to pick up live orders at the in comming Fed Ex facility. Most shippers will ship to a fed ex office.

The real benefit is I can get my live order right when they open. And I get it home safe and sound.

I have heard that before. Some people have problems with UPS and FedEx is great. I have really spent some money on acros this year and it’s very stressful waiting on the FedEx shipment. I’ve been converting my mixed reef to SPS dominant. Good luck with them.

I always have the package held at the local FedEx or ups facility. Less traveling on a truck and I can pick it up earlier than they could deliver it.

Thanks. Years ago I had a order that was fish food and maintenance stuff come up missing. UPS dropped it off at a house 2 blocks away. The UPS driver went back to the house days after to get it. He said they tried to say they didn’t have it when he knocked on the door to get it. But his GPS showed he delivered it there. They gave it back once he showed them that. People suck sometimes.

Sorry about your fish loss Biggestfish.

I did receive my corals today. I was sitting in my living room and got an update that they delivered. Weird as I saw no one walk up to my house...

Long story short, they delivered to the wrong street (right house number but wrong street...). My extremely helpful neighbor brought it to my house.

I had a crazy 30 minutes trying to track it down and get on the phone with FedEx.

Luckily I had a good/honest neighbor get this package and he brought it to over to me. That was a rough week for shipments. The same week UPS dropped of an order of leak monitors to somewhere else. Suppoed to deliver on Friday but tracking stated pending for 2 days then changed to delivered on Friday. The vendor had to ship another order and they messed up and only sent 1 box (qty 2) and the original order was 2 boxes (qty 2). So they resent and i got 2 dif orders, 1 with just one sensor and then 2days later another shipment with 2 boxes of 2. My original order was for 4 sensors and I ended up with 7. Vendor said just keep them. LOL what a mess..

My FedEx guy is actually the nicest guy !! When I lived in my apartment he was always so nice then I moved to my house only a couple miles away and I was glad to see it was the same guy . About a year ago I bought from an vendor that had used my old apartment address by accident . he realized o he doesn't live there anymore and brought it to my house !! What other driver would do that?! Now he comes by and always asks fish or coral this time ?? Lol I actually gotta write to FedEx or management and get him some recognition as this thread shows there are some duds.

I agree he needs some recognition. I have that type of relationship with our mail man and its great to see people who are happy and love their job!

I have the same problem out here in the Phoenix Area. They seem to deliver on location not whats in the box. So these poor animals get to spend extra time cooking in delivery van. For me in not just Fedex, UPS and USPS are just as bad.

That’s awesome! I seem to always have a different driver when I have seen them. Most of the time they dump the deliveries by the garage door. I believe they’re independent contractors. The UPS guy I always see and he’s great. Knocks on the door every time. Asks me hows the tank doing. He’s a fellow fisherman also.
