Did the Hanna match your Red Sea Alk test?
The new reactor looks great. I'm a paranoid type, so I put TLF hose clamps on all my flexible tubing, notice you're running without on your reactors.
After all the KZ Coral Snow talk, did we over or under sell the product?
Micheal,
I'm sorry but I have not opened the alk checker yet but when I do, I will post the results against the Red Sea Pro alk.
This is what I've been doing with the old Red Sea alk. (Heard there's an new and improved / green color refill)
I always make sure the plunger is at the 1ml mark and the air bubble at the .9 mark.
You don't find an exact end point color but you look for an end point change.
So, I've been finding the end point change and squeeze in on more drop for good measure and then I read the results.
I will be surprised ;Wideyed if it matches the Hanna but at least I've been doing the exact same procedure with the RSP pro.
Out of all the goody's that I received this week, the Hanna alk checker was priority #
1 and an absolute must.
Thanks for your input on the hose clamps. If you look I have
some stainless steal clamps in my old plumbing.
I will have the GFO reactor up and running by Monday. (Have a new Y connector coming in on Monday)
But I'm going to re-plumb with new tubing. If you look close at some of my shots, the manifold has dropped.

My original RS hoses are over 4 years old and the ends have gotten brittle and they have lost their elasticity.
Plus RS sent me just a long enough 1" hose to connect the main pump to the manifold. (No built in slack)
So, over the years the just long enough hose has been pulling down on the manifold and it's holding clips.
The clips are still attached to the manifold but the screws have pulled out from the bottom of the stand. I will be running all new 1" tubing with plenty of slack, drill new holes for the holding clips and going to use liquid nail too.
I think the KZ snow is just about what I was hoping for, between you and
@hybridazn thoughts.
I have not done my weekly water change
(Must get out of Lazy-Boy) and the S 400 has the no water look and the surface shimmer is great. So I think you and Hybird nailed it and I will keep dosing the KZ coral snow.
Lol,
Getting out of "Lazy-Boy" and preforming water change.
