Entire work is heading outside.
More shots to come. :)

Alright got a lot of great shots and even had a guy drive up from Miami Fla. (and was in our parking lot) to catch the event.
Co-worker had better camera than mine.
Will post those shots in the next day.

Meanwhile enjoy the music

Thanks for your post #554.
Will have to pickup one of those Wal-Green's syringe's.

The Hanna alk checker is awesome too.

Will have pictures of the eclipse from Nashville in the am.
My co-worker brought in a way better camera and will have his shots in the morning.

Street lights came on, temp dropped over 10 degrees and you can see Venus too.

The guy from Miami shots are off the hook and he is going to email my company his shots.

Yea we only hard a partial on was cool tho

Compleat awesomeness!

Got to look like it was about 7:30 outside, not much out of the ordinary in CT.

Bruce it was really neat.

We got some shots off to the west and it had that bright orange sunset look.
Was much darker, if you did not look at the horizon.

Alright,
Finally got in the Y connector that I wanted, so lets complete the plumping and bring the GFO reactor back online.

Ever get the Eheim tubing that's just under an 1/2" in diameter an it will not fit? :(

Welp,
I cut it to size, place it in water and microwave it for about 45 seconds.

She'll fit now :)

The final the plumbing and... Yes, a Bubble King skimmer will do the job.

Since we added the Stripey and the new Purigen reactor, I have not tested the S 400's Nitrates and Phos.
Have not done the weekly water change yet, but this is what we've got.

Nitrates = 5ppm (Salifert)
Phos. = .028ppm (Hanna ULR Checker)
I'll take those #'s. :)

The S 400's water has been crystal clear since the new Purigen reactor was installed and am not dosing the KZ coral snow so that we can track the #'s by only making one change.

If these #'s hold and my water stays this crystal clear, then I wont feel the need to dose the KZ snow for water clarity.

The new Purigen reactor has only been running for one week. So this will be a once a week testing (study) over a six week period.

Looks good Freddie :D

I always put mine in a pot of boiling water, didn't think of the microwave lol
Thanks Jackie,

I used to boil it too, until my local reef shop told me about micro waving the tubing, in water.
Does the same thing but a lot faster. :)

Sorry I haven't been around our usual threads today much, I have been paying attention to the hurricane because my granddaughter Lily is supposed to be arriving at Houston Hobby airport tomorrow morning. My son, who is here, is stressing out about it. I just got info that she'll be diverted to DFW. So my daughter-in-law is going to drive all the way to Dallas to get her. They live northwest of Houston.

But she'll be safe, which is important!

Exactly! Now my son can breathe a little better. He feels guilty being here while they're all there and their land is definitely going to get flooded. My sister lives in DFW (Arlington) so we convinced his wife to take the kids and go there.
