I have it set at 77 degrees. When it hits 76 the heater comes on / when it hits 78 the chiller kicks in.

The green snowflake means it's chilling.

The Carrier and the Trane are both 2.5 ton units.
The Carrier was a 10 Seer and the Trane is a 14 Seer.

You can tell how much bigger that the 14 Seer Trane is.

I keep a Alabama banaide handy for AC malfunctions

We replaced our Trane last year in May after 24 years of service and a skyrocketing electric bill. We went with a 16 ser system, two stage heat pump and wow what a difference in the electric bill and cooling and humidity control. Just wait and feel the difference!!
