Coralife wouldn't lie!!! That's pretty funny IMO and 30 years and many different skimmers including a coralife tells me i can believe my own eyes and judge what works and what works much better. Take a look around and you won't see any Awesome tanks running coralife skimmers of any size or design and that should be proof enough they are not very good at what they are supposed to do.
I certainly did not offer my opinion to start an argument on this board but merely to state what i have learned about buying equipment that falls short. Now i will go back to minding my own business.

Also I'm not trying to argue just stating that if you don't have ratings or fact we can't judge skimmers and if you think a out it reef octopus I the high end skimmer world is a low end cheap skimmer go see what a bubble king cost.

How is it possible to do no water changes and have no skimmer? What method of nutrient export works well enough to make that possible?

I don't run a skimmer and my tank is doing great. Although I want one badly haha. I've been saving up for a reef octopus

My previous tank went well over a year and a half with no skimmer. zero nitrates and I never tested for phosphate then. it was a pretty incredible tank. no bio pellets, no carbon, no gfo, no Algae scrubber. just a simple de-nitrator coil and a 10 year old established tank.

in regards to those skimmers, they look like yet another copy of the popular cone designs.
