After a bit of research I have come to the conclusion thay this is the easiest acro and in theory should be easier to keep than montis. What can I expect from these

If you keep your water parameters inline (stable), with the correct flow and lighting.

You can expect fast growth, fluffy polyp extension with a great... neon (glowing) green-colored stag.

I love stags! Here is my green slimer. It should be more branching but I had a large foxface that was trimming the tops for around 4 months before I could get it rehomed.
It is bushlike but starting to go vertical. I have taken a handful of frags too.

Hey, 90's
Is your stag in the upper left corner an ORA turquoise stag?

If not what kind is it, and does it have the growth rate, like a green slime?

Thanks!

I checked your build thread. You should have no problem growing the slimer.
Just keep parameters stable and it will grow.
If you were local I would give you a frag as I have several in my frag system.
But next....can I? Lol....there are a few good sized sticks at my lfs, my Monti is alive but a very slow grower....birdsnest got bleached on a summertime heat wave AC bust, that has been repaired since so we'll have constant cooling no matter what in summer.... I don't dose, but do change out water at minimal levels, 2-3% a week, 25 year old system, Softie, LPS dominated.....something tells me I may need to dose.

Stable parameters in any system is needed for success. Get on a schedule of testing alk, ca, and mag. This is the only way to determine if dosing is required.

Yup....got the mag....gotta get the alk/ca locked in for sure. Finally gonna break down and get those tests lol

What's your favorite brightly colored, not green, SPS stag? I have center spot in my tank begging for a new stag that is very open between branches, like the green variety, but the corals around this spot are green and something red or differnet color would be better.

Purple stag or blue Matrix.
The blue Matrix is slower growing with thicker branches.
Pic 1 purple stag growth rate like slimer.
2nd Matrix.
