Green Rock Turning Green

I started my tank with dry rock , now the tank is cycled with fish and ready to add coral but my rocks turned and are turning more green how can I prevent this ?

They turn more green, maybe get a diatom outbreak, some hair algae...this is all normal part of the tank maturing, eventually coralline will take over and you'll have purple, pink, green coralline covered rock.

I thought this green stuff is green coralline , but would pink and purple take over jt
 
I love the green... I'm finally getting through the diatom phase and my rocks are turning pink and purple but on some of the spots with high light I have neon green algae that grows... it looks like my Tyree Aequituberculata has turned the entire rock green

Usually, assuming you have some imported into the tank.usually through hermit crab shell, frag plug, etc
You can even buy some to seed with if you want to go that route
 
I've seen pictures of dry rock becoming florescent green, almost "glowing". Normal.

What's your PO4 at?
