Never seen one bigger then 6 inches. Mine is 10 years old and still the same size as I bought him.Comets/Marine Betas are gorgeous, but will have to trade it in once it starts to get too big. Would need to make sure that your lfs would take it in.
Nothing special. Its cryptic but is constantly in and out of the rock work. He eats pellets and larger mysys.10 years wow! Any recommendations for it? I just got one and would like some care tips for it to live long.

I love to have some sort of grouper in my tank and these are beauties.That would a good choice, as @LostInTheDark stated, they are crtptic. I rarely saw mine but knew others who had more outgoing ones. You can get captive bred ones that usually come in very small and they grow really really slow. You may have to start more mature ones off with live food, ghosties They play well with lions and go well in a predator themed tank.
