I agree. Give it time to acclimate to your tank. Mine took awhile, it started as a 1" frag and is currently about 4" and I notice more growth every week.

no, no you don't lol. gsp is a WEED and will spread and spread and sting and kill. has your tank cycled?

Tank looks good and taking it slow is the best approach. I always start saying I'll take things slow when I setup a new tank and never quite follow through lol.

Nvm guys, figured it out. Ph crashed to 7.6 somehow, I just checked yesterday at 8.1. Anyone know how to fix this

I have extra water if I need to do a water change

It's a newer tank. Stuff fluctuates
Ph does too. You'll note that it will increase and decrease from night to day.
Regular water changes do help as does surface agitation.

Yeah I used a small amount of baking soda to get the ph back and i usually do water changes once a week

K. You don't need to buffer the ph.
As you add Coral it will pull co2 out of the system and increase ph.
A small hob refugium will also help

Also the low ph won't hurt the gsp.

We're all told not to chase ph but most do. For some very sensitive corals it's better to have more stable ph. (And you will too naturally) but for small normal tanks it's not needed and is nearly impossible to achieve correctly.
