Gulf Coast

I actually need some stuff from reefcleaners, but they’re out of stock of everything I was needing… emerald crabs and dwarf trochus. They have regular trochus snails, but will only ship 3 with free shipping.

Well yesterday when I made that post they had emerald crabs. That was one of the items I was going to buy.

Been a bit since checked in on this thread, been getting the 90g settled in nice and slowly adding to the livestock and coral stock.
I see few of y’all wanting to make orders from online, Chris at oceans corals in mobile can do select ordering if you give him a call or Facebook message, he makes orders on Sunday if I remember correct. He has plenty of CUC options in stock almost always as well as great selection of fish and even some rare variants and 3 large frag tank setups packed full or corals as well as smaller frag tank with some high end torches/hammers/acans. I go by there almost every other weekend, usually catch one of his sales on corals when I can! Got to pack this 90 out like we have our 24 cube!

I’ll have to get a better full tank shot of the 90g this weekend when I’m home for peak lights. And also here is my fiancés 24g cube I bought her for anniversary to get her started after she complained I spent to much time on my tanks and she wanted to pick out fish and corals for herself lol!
Hey Caleb, are you still located in Pascagoula like your sidebar says?

I would love to support a local store, but all of these Mobile stores are about an hour drive for me and they are mostly open from noon to 5. That means I have to take off in the middle of a work day to make a trip over. Unfortunately right now if I am taking off, I can't use that time for aquarium stuff. So I am pretty much left with ordering online.

And that 24 cube is pretty packed out. It's going to take a while to get the 90 to that level!

Biota has one royal gramma basslet left and I am thinking about placing an order. Is anyone interested in hopping in on this order to try to push to free shipping? If I make the order it will be for delivery on Friday November 4th.

Now I know why I have been losing snails, we just killed two more leopard polyclad flatworms this week, I thought I had killed all those little basterds. I guess not.

I just looked those guys ups, they are terrifying. How did you kill them? How many have you had?

In two years I have caught and killed 4 so far. We recently got serious about catching them and started baiting with scallop at night, since they are nocturnal and cannot resist the smell of scallop they are rather easy to catch.

@Snoopdog , I am finally moving my frags that I picked up from you and the Facebook guy to the display tank. The frags were on my qt frag rack for so long that 6 out of 13 frags had attached to the rack. Now I'm pretty sure I need to glue these to this rock. Is there a putty of some sort for this application? I don't think my CA glue is what's needed here. Also, I'm attempting to attach my GSP to the back glass with a magnet. I tried to remember how you said you did it with the palys.

I used these. They are not cheap but they are insanely strong. Just glue the frag or the frag plug to one side.

When gluing a frag plug to the rock I just use super glue gel. I clean the live rock area when I can, rough it up and twist the frag plug in circles in the area, that way I can see the glue attach to both areas.

Approximately how thick are they?

Oh BTW, if anyone needs Kenya Tree, waving hand coral, GSP, pavona, Xenia, mohican sun or green montipora let me know. I am overrun again.
Thanks, I'm about to order a couple pairs.

And I have 4 oz of Coral RX that someone can have. I don't intend on adding any more coral for the foreseeable future.
