Gulf Coast

Thanks, I'm about to order a couple pairs.

And I have 4 oz of Coral RX that someone can have. I don't intend on adding any more coral for the foreseeable future.

All my crap is growing so fast within 6 months I am going to be chucking insane amounts of coral in the yard. The back glass is at least 50% covered right now. The GSP and mohican suns keep overlapping each other it is entertaining looking. There is one mohican sun polyp that keeps growing longer to get light, and the GSP is growing on the stalk, so the mohican sun just keeps extending and it is a never ending battle with neither winning, making for an interesting design.

Now that I know that we had polyclad flatworms I can fix that problem and finally be able to keep a clean up crew. Those arseholes have cost me a ton of money this year killing and eating everything I bought. As long as I have a solution, no worry.

I am going to take more pictures after Halloween, this is the one holiday we put a ton into. It takes weeks to setup our yard and a full day to tear it all down.

@Snoopdog , I am finally moving my frags that I picked up from you and the Facebook guy to the display tank. The frags were on my qt frag rack for so long that 6 out of 13 frags had attached to the rack. Now I'm pretty sure I need to glue these to this rock. Is there a putty of some sort for this application? I don't think my CA glue is what's needed here. Also, I'm attempting to attach my GSP to the back glass with a magnet. I tried to remember how you said you did it with the palys.

I'm using these (minus the fluorescent ring, they're removable). They're cheap and might possibly prevent magnets from leaching down the road. 4 pack for $18.

It would be insanely hard for these magnets I linked to leach, they are strong but tiny, with very heavy epoxy coating. Any magnet can leach, it only takes a small amount of salt to get in to make it happen, but the way these are encased is impressive.

Oh yay, two more. On the positive note we know how to catch them and it seems to work every single time. The downside is I am not sure how we determine if there could be juveniles or eggs.

Anyone in need of any of these things.

Green Pavona
Green Montipora
Kenya Tree
Xenia
Mohican Suns
Green Star Polyps
Nirvanas

Soon to have other things that I am growing out, but I need to get rid of these first to make room.

Just finally got my tank, once it’s setup and cycled I will definitely reach out to you and see what you have!

How's everyone doing? Did anybody pick up any black Friday deals? I grabbed a clean up crew pack and 3 little fish. But now I have to setup a second quarantine tank. I'm not sure how to break that one to the wife....

Doing really good, just cleaned up a small amount of hair algea

I didn’t get anything reef related for Black Friday, but I did get my hands on a par meter and played around with a couple different light spectrums. I am now slightly upping the light intensity over a 30 day acclimation period.

I am going to have to find better ways to offload these coral frags, they are starting to end up in the back yard. Coral does not grow well in rain.

That's pretty cool. Did you buy one or rent one? What lighting are you running?

Do you have any more of those mint green zoas? Those are the only ones that did not make it. All of the other frags are doing great.
