Gutted, lost four fish

A few thoughts:
1. The temperature seems low for typical reef tank inhabitants.
2. You have a lot of livestock for a 4 month old tank.
3. How often do you test your ammonia? You really shouldn't be seeing any ammonia in a cycled tank.
4. Combining 2 and 3, your bioload may be overwhelming the bacterial filter causing an ammonia level toxic to the fish.

Sorry for your losses. Good luck.

Tank is 4 months now, Amonia is .003, PH 8.1, temp 23.5, Nitrites and Nitrates just trace, salinity around 1.25. KH around 170, trace phosphates. Using Seneye and API test kits
Maybe I'm confused but when I cycle a tank I never introduce livestock untill ammonia and nitrites are 0 and nitrates are registering. I dont remember having either in a fully cycled tank.

I just want to confirm... Your salinity is 1.025 correct? You posted 1.25. I'm sure you'd be having more issues if it really were 1.25 but wanted to confirm. Sorry to hear of your losses.
yes, sry 1.025
