I hope so. They're pretty much all plug and play, so if you're interested in modifying or even just repairing one and know how to turn a screwdriver, it's very simple to do, no special tools required. You can buy all the parts except the main body. It is worth noting that the PSUs from maxspect are just Meanwell units internally and are available at a fraction of the cost, generic units are even cheaper again. My 24v 250w unit with a 2yr warranty was a whopping £25, the maxspect PSUs range from £100-£140 and only have a 1yr warranty.....

@Ranjib
Been thinking a bit more about an interface for the reefPi. Doing away with the stock controller altogether and letting the Pi handle the LED control, temp monitoring and fan control would be pretty simple. However I'd like to achieve integration and be able to keep the original controller for redundancy.
In regards to the PWM, The LM3409 should run fine on a 3.3v pwm signal The frequency however may be a different story, the high frequency is designed to push any noise generated by ceramic caps in the driver circuit beyond audible range. Without additional testing I can't say for sure but it may be that the driver will produce an audible hum in the 1-2 kHz zone. This article explains it far better than I can https://www.analog.com/media/en/tec...rticle/LTMag-V19N1-08-LT3755_56-EricYoung.pdf

My idea is not total integration but just a simple circuit using a DPDT relay (something like this https://docs-emea.rs-online.com/webdocs/0e0d/0900766b80e0d419.pdf ) that allows the Pi to take over the LED control but will automatically revert to the on-board controller in event of any issues with the Pi.
Please excuse the crummy wiring diagram (relay is shown in the NC position) but it should give you the idea.....
