Hair algae questions.

IMO/E, stop looking for things to eat it. Instead inprove your water quality -- less excess nutrients in the tank, less algae issues.

Are you using RO/DI water? If so, what is the TDS of it?

as said you need to get rid of nutrients feeding the algae. maybe find some macro algae you like the looks of to grow in the tank to help with nitrates and use GFO for phosphates in a media bag. if you had a sump it would be easier to incorporate these things.

It's a 10 gallon tank and I cut the lights back and feed way less now and tomorrow it's time for the weekly water change. When I go get the water I'm going to have them test everything
